Job Description
Enterprise Security Engineers provide security centric and software support for an enterprise multi-site datacenter hosting service running over 10,000 Virtual Machines.
Design, implement and maintain enterprise security tools.
Assess, report and resolve software vulnerabilities in coordination with the engineering team
Respond to security related escalation requests, build requests, modification requests, decommission requests, and tickets through ServiceNow.
Conduct security patching initiatives, firmware upgrades and change control processes.
Participate in Engineering Projects and conduct research on upcoming technologies.
Requirements
•IDS/IPS, penetration and vulnerability testing in a virtualized Windows server environment
•Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols
•Experience with Security Configuration Management (SCM) tools such as Tripwireand CyberArk
•Experience with tools such as SafeNet a plus
•Experiencewith Windows Active Directory(AD)
•Knowledge of virtual machine encryption technologies
•Knowledge of Identity and access management principles
•Knowledge of application security and data-at-rest encryption technologies
•Knowledge of Secure network architectures.
•Knowledge of Information Assurance Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
•Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APT), phishing and social engineering, network access controllers(NAC), gateway anti-malware and enhanced authenticationa plus
