Job Description
Converged engineers provide support for an enterprise multi-site datacenter hosting service running over 10,000 Virtual Machines.
Design, implement and maintain enterprise converged and hyperconverged infrastructure, network and related storage appliances.
Troubleshoot and resolve configuration problems, outages, and performance issues.
Respond to escalation requests, build requests, modification requests, decommission requests, and tickets through ServiceNow.
Conduct security patching initiatives, firmware upgrades and change control processes.
Participate in Engineering Projects and conduct research on upcoming technologies.
Requirements
Proficient in Vmware Vcenter and ESXi, (VSAN, NSX-T, VROPS are a plus)
Proficient understanding with DNS and Active Directory
And
experience with of EMC NAS and SAN
Or
Experience with Cisco switching
Proficiency creating architectural and topography drawings in Microsoft Visio
Experience with Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency interpreting and creating action plans relating to BI dashboards and system utilization reports
Strong understanding of Migration technologies and techniques used in large datacenter environments
